Home Scale Cleaning
To clean and get rid of any dirt and debris on the scale’s surface, fist remove batteries and/or power adapter. Using a soft, lint-free, clean cloth moistened with a mild cleaning solution, remove any dirt or deposits from the scale’s weighing platform.
Digital scale display and buttons:
Take the batteries out or unplug the scale. To clear the display and buttons of any debris, use a brush with soft bristles.
Disinfecting Instructions
Use one of the following solutions for disinfecting a home scale.
- 70% isopropyl alcohol
- solution with 1-5% hydrogen peroxide concentration
- Acetone is incompatible with plastic parts, glued components, and the display screen. It should never be used, even for extremely sticky materials.
Wipe with a cloth dampened with water after cleaning or disinfecting, and then with a fresh, dry cloth. After cleaning, make sure the scale is totally dry to prevent residue accumulation.
The scale’s finish may be harmed if you clean it with rough or abrasive materials.
The scale should not be immersed in water or any other liquid.
Avoid spraying or pouring liquids directly onto the scale.
